On the occasion of the world renowned design fair Euroluce, which took place in Milan from 13.-18. April 2005, the European Lighting Designers’ Association, ELDA+ staged their sixth international lighting conference: ELDA+ Light Focus 2005.

The theme of the 2005 conference was "Let's talk about … light". It was held on 14. and 15. April 2005 and addressed the many facets of light and lighting that make for excellent architectural projects.
The 14 papers did not only include exemplary lighting design projects, but focused on specific themes related to lighting design in exterior and interior spaces, and the key role that well designed lighting plays in the overall success of a project.
