Alingsås workshop and conference

Description:

The theme of the workshop and conference will be “Interfacing with the Community”. The idea is to develop new design in close collaboration with the community and with clients and users. Especially socio-critical areas will be part of the workshop.

Price for students: SEK 2,625:- incl . VAT Price for trade people: SEK 10,875:- incl. VAT

10 % discount for ELDA members.

The price includes: Day 1 lunch and evening meal; days 2-5 Lunch; Friday, a buffet lunch during the seminar and a buffet in the evening, ”Get together” party. The price also includes maps, jackets and conference fee.

Accommodation: Youth hostel SEK 190:- per person and night. Budget accommodation at the Hotel Parkaden, sharing a double room SEK 350:- per person and night.

The Workshop week will be conducted in English only.

Your application is binding.

Cancellation is only possible in the case of illness or due to circumstances beyond the participant's control. In the latter case, 75% of the workshop fee and accommodation can be refunded up to one month before the workshop.

As the places are attractive and the number is limited, we reserve the right to approve applications. All fees must be paid before arrival.

Lighting Designers’ get-together

The get-together includes a presentation of ELDA+ workshops and other events by Joachim Ritter / FELDA, co-organizer of ELDA+ workshops.

A DVD of the Birmingham workshop 2006 will be shown and a 10 minute presentation will be given by Martin Lupton (the technical coordinator in the workshop) and Tim Downey (a workshop head).

Afterwards you are invited to join us for a drink and to meet the evening’s speakers.
